Meme coin launchpad Pump.fun is back with a vengeance as it grabbed the top spot away from LetsBonk, which dominated the market in the last few weeks.
This has helped boost the value of its $PUMP token over the past 24 hours. It’s up by 5.68%, trading at $0.003597, and the 24-hour trading volume almost doubled as well.
As a Solana token launchpad, Pump.fun’s performance can send bullish ripples in the $SOL market. Already, Solana-based coins are showing gains between 40-70% in the last 24 hours. it also adds fuel to Snorter Token’s ($SNORT) fire as it has raised $3M so far in its presale.
$PUMP Surges as Pump.fun Regains #1 Spot
$PUMP is currently at $0.003612, up 3.70% in the past day, as it regained control of the meme coin launchpad market, starting on August 6.
LetsBonk, launched back in April, immediately stole Pump.fun’s spotlight, but it seems the tables have turned for now.
According to Adam Tehc’s Dune dashboard, Pump.fun accounted for 26,836 of the 36,458 total daily tokens deployed on August 11 versus LetsBonk’s 1,813.
Prior to LetsBonk’s launch, Pump.fun has been the de facto meme coin launchpad. Now back to its number one spot, it saw a volume of $190M in the last 24 hours.
